The PEF seeks to enrich the curriculum at Polaris through planning and helping to fund:
- Field trips
- In-school enrichment programs
- After school class and club opportunities
In School Enrichment
The PEF works to provide additional enriching experiences through the calendar year to enhance learning for all children. Teachers can request special project directed materials from the PEF or ask for help sourcing an expert in the area of study.
If the class is studying weather, why not bring in a real weatherman?
If a class is studying ancient architecture, why not bring in an architect?
The PEF also works to provide team bonding experiences such as a special off site field day and impromptu pizza days. This year the PEF will bring in a special presentation about bullying.
After School Enrichment
The PEF Enrichment Committee is excited to offer a variety of enriching afterschool opportunities for your children to enjoy during the 2017-2018 school year. These activities will include varied arts, music, physical fitness, science and technology. We have worked hard to coordinate the schedule of offerings for the trimester in advance so that you can plan your family calendars and budget accordingly.
We offer many experiences from professional organizations right at the school. We also work to run volunteer led clubs and activities. These programs require volunteer support to run. With volunteer efforts we would love to run a robotics team, a Lego Club, a newspaper or help you share your passion or knowledge. If everyone pitches in a little, we can do big things for our kids!

Both peter and Julianna would like to the Lego club. Is there spits still available? I couldn’t find any emails on besides the one that says almost full.. Price? Day(s) times?
